Come and join us on a fantastic journey into art!
Supply List for Class & Convention – this is what’s in my travel case
A check before leaving doesn’t hurt as it can be frustrating to arrive at class knowing you have the missing item at home but now have to purchase another to work your project.
2 – Water Containers Double Ended Stylus
Pallet Knife Ruler
Pen Brush Cleaner/Soap
Note Book Painters Tape/Masking Tape
White Eraser Blue Shop Cloths/Paper Towels
White & Black Carbon Paper Wet / Dry Palette
Tracing Paper Kleenex
Disposable Wax Palette Pad Baby Wipes (no perfumes or Oils)
Do not bring all your brushes but bring good brushes. If in doubt buy a new one.
Most teachers will list any special needs in the convention class list.
I always throw in several health bars just in case I get hungry during a class.
I use a small wheeled suitcase that I can leave only my convention art supplies in while at convention, then I can wheel it around & still carry my project. Things start getting heavy by the third or fourth day & it’s your fifth class. Be sure you have your name on it & tie a ribbon or put a special tag on it so you can recognize your case among the many in the storage room as you walk the trade floor.
I fold each shop towel in half then in thirds & put those into a large zip lock bag. The full towel roll takes up too much space. Take lots. I take fewer paper towels (folded the same way & in a zip lock bag) as you only need them for spilled water….right?
Don’t forget your tooth brush & have fun!
See you in class,
