Art Education Programs
Beginner program: 6 hours per week for 3 months.
Program includes working with acrylics, learning the colour wheel, formulas for mixing colour, correct brush selection, brush control, how to use mediums, learning
distance & form. Students will be given homework to complete & return for critiquing by next class.
Intermediate program: 6 hours per week for 3 months.
Continuing acrylic skills, reviewing beginner applications, introduction of watercolours, advancing brush control, learning to put emotion & temperature into a painting. Students will be given homework to complete & return for critiquing by next class. Student will copy a Grand Master selected by the instructor this semester.
Advanced program: 6 hours per week for 3 months.
Working wet to wet ( oil emulation as we are a toxic free studio & do not use oils or paint thinners), adding details such as water drops, learning how to paint glass, painting what you see not from a pattern. Student will paint a Grand Master of their choice.
You will receive a certificate of completion at the end of the program.
